Guest Post by Tyler Shelton
We are finally back with new posts on my blog! It's been such an eventful time and I'm ecstatic to share some about what I've been up to and what's on my heart. I wanted to share this terrific post from my dear friend and one of my big encouragers Tyler Shelton. He's been tapping into some very beautiful grace, truth and wisdom about men’s true identity in Christ Jesus and what it means to be a son of God. It's been a joy to sit on the sidelines and watch him BEcome who he's always been destined to be before time even began! I know that both men and women and people of all ages will be empowered and uplifted by this. I'll be back later on this week with more new posts that you can only read here on my blog!
Until then- thank you for your endless support,

Dear The One Worthy of Loving Yourself,
Are you so focused on the approval of others, when you don’t even approve of yourself? Are you so worried about others judging or condemning you, when you do the same thing to yourself daily?
There is no more condemning yourself. There is no more neglecting yourself. There is no more not loving yourself while thinking you can love others.
Do we really believe we can love others without first loving ourselves? It may have the appearance of “loving others”, but it really isn’t, because it’s coming from someone who rejected the same thing they are trying to give. Love isn’t love if it doesn’t benefit everyone involved, and yes, that includes you.
Loving yourself is not a new idea. From the very beginning God has desired for you to love yourself by first receiving His love. Jesus speaks about loving yourself when he states the greatest commandment, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no commandment greater than these.’” -Mark 12:30-31 NIV
Loving yourself starts with God, because He first loved us. God is love, so if there is anyone who we can be confident in knowing they love themself fully, it is God Himself. No one knows love more deeply than the one [He] who is love. Believe in God for who He says He is [love Him], receive His burning love for you, and allow His love to transform you and lead you into loving yourself. As you and God now partner in loving you, go and love those around you [your neighbors] as you love yourself.
Love yours truly,
Yourself
