You are more than your gift.

I finally got a chance to see the movie “Encanto” tonight, and of course I wept like the crybaby I am. These days I’m surprised I even have any tear ducts left. I don’t want to spoil the movie for anyone who hasn’t seen it, but here’s the trailer. I suggest seeing it as soon as possible, although you will still be able to enjoy this blog post regardless.

God IS Faithful

"God Who promised us IS faithful." - (Hebrews 10:23) You don't have to manufacture hope, faith, joy or anything in this world. The Holy Spirit is The One Who will produce all these things and more IN us and FOR us (for free). GOD Who promised us IS faithful. You are not in this life by yourself with God on the other side waving and telling us He'll see us at the end. NO- God is on the same side we are on.

Guest Post by Tyler Shelton

We are finally back with new posts on my blog! It's been such an eventful time and I'm ecstatic to share some about what I've been up to and what's on my heart. I wanted to share this terrific post from my dear friend and one of my big encouragers Tyler Shelton. He's been tapping into some very beautiful grace, truth and wisdom about men’s true identity in Christ Jesus and what it means to be a son of God. It's been a joy to sit on the sidelines and watch him BEcome who he's always been destined to be before time even began!

God will never give up on you.

There is not enough meditation, fasting, tithing, reading the bible, praying, positive thinking or speaking, crystals, essential oils, healthy eating, training, hypnotism, retreats, good karma, dream dictionaries, astrology, conferences, yoga, volunteering, prophets, rituals, psychics, healers, guides or anything in this world that can remove FEAR from a human being’s heart. I have tried and there was only temporary relief followed by more torment.

Late Night Thoughts

Late night thoughts...
You are not too much for God to handle. You are not too broken for God to heal. God is not angry at you. God is not ignoring you. God has not forgotten about you. God is not far from you. God is closer than the air you breathe. God is always thinking of you.

Spiritual Maturity

Spiritual maturity is not based on how long you've been saved (or how long you've known God), how many bible verses and bible stories you've memorized, how long you can fast, how many times you pray each day, how much money you give, how talented and gifted you are, how many missions trips you go on, how long you can meditate, how many people you preach or evangelize to...this list can go on and on.

Life in the Middle

Don't give up in the middle. There is so much that takes place here. Life is not a destination to get to, it is a journey to be lived and enjoyed. You don't only have to enjoy it when you get what or who you want. You can have joy, peace and hope right now. You can have contentment and gratitude right here.

Goodbye 2020 and Happy New Year!

Written on New Year's Eve 2020.

This year was certainly a whirlwind. The pandemic turned my entire life and career upside down; I had to reimagine my life and career in a new way. I went from getting ready for my new tour, co-founding my I Am Extraordinary Academy, mentoring my high school girls group, teaching workshops at schools around the county and ministering at churches (etc.) to being quarantined and losing the majority of my income.

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! Jesus changes everything. In a world and systems that consider some people more valuable than others and often wants to squeeze you into a cramped tiny box, Jesus loves all people equally and yet uniquely to each person's needs.
